Woburn, Massachusetts, (September 22, 2009) – Pluromed, Inc. announced approval by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for BackStopTM, a device used in ureteroscopic kidney stone management procedures. BackStop was approved as a Class II device under the pre-market notification 510(k) process.
